Wendy's at Sunway Pyramid

Last weekend, we were in pyramid, deciding what to eat for dinner. then my dad suggested Wendy's. Cos we weren't sure if it is nice or not, we gave it a pass and went to ss2 murni instead.
then after reading some rather good reviews in the food blog (click here)
we decided to give it a try last night....

as usual, the place was packed, and the queue was snaking out of the shop. no kidding!
but the line was quite fast. they will give a menu and take your order when you are still queuing up, makes things alot faster...

although..there was this group of people in front of us who were so indecisive and took soooo long to decide what to order. i mean..its just a burger. how hard can it be????
and there was also this young couple who was embracing PDA. (ahem, i hope you know what it stands for) they couldn't keep their hands off each other while standing in line. i don't have anything against it but just thought of mentioning it as i find it rather amusing.

their specialty burger is the beef burger but since none of us fancied beef, we opted for other things in the menu.

This is the shrimp supreme. the Burger bun is nice and soft. nicer than McD's hahah. the "filling" was good. was bored of chicken, thats why. the spicy chicken burger looks good too. next time round =)

the set meal comes with a drink and fries. they have 3 sizes-small, regular and large. Prices range from rm10 to 15 (beef burgers are more expensive) something like Burger King's price range.

Baked potatoes. something other fast food chains do not have! they have 6 different toppings to choose from. we had sour cream and chives. it was good, the potato was hat (most important!) and soft and tasty. yummy. potatoes are comfort food!
this is the fish burger.not bad also
the french fries. i like all french fries! =) makes me feel guilty after that though
my favourite of the day! Frostie! even the name is cute. basically a milkshake. i had chocolate of course. its smooth creamy and a pure indulgence!

the fried chicken. they have regular and spicy. but too bad they didn't have spicy so we had to settle for the regular one. nice and crispy.
its a very "family" place. what i like is that their menu is a little bit different cos they have baked potatoes! their burgers were good and its definitely worth a second visit!
Wendy's is situated at the old wing, one floor above the skating ring (where all the fast food chains are)
McD's was looking a bit emptier than usual. new broom sweeps clean! hahah
