UNFORTUNATELY.....they were out of crabs! =( apparently they sold out crabby the previous day.. and the day's delivery hasn't arrive yet. so dissapointed!

the restaurant is like the other one.the setting is very nice.with individual huts and all...

we were very early, so there were not many people yet, but it does get super packed, especially during the weekends.so its better to go early!

here is the FOOD!
lets start off with drinks!

young thai coconut. very sweet and refreshing with lots of "isi". perfect for a hot day :)

its RM3.80 each

oh, and feeling a little adventourous, my parents ordered TODDY, a drink made from fermented coconut flower juice. (hence the name of the restaurant) and..i didn't try it. it smelled weird.

this is fried lotus root with vege. RM 18. not bad but nothing special.

Steam Grouper..RM 61!! Well, fish is expensive. its fresh and has genourous toppings of tofu and preserved vege.

one of their specialty. Fried beehoon with lala. just OK, i prefered the one from Restaurant telok gong. and yeah, the lala were in tiny bits...This is RM15

ok, here is my favourite. Fried sotong, "Lai Yau" stlye. the topping (fried egg yolk i think) was crispy and buttery and all yummy. the squids were really crispy and tasty. two thums up!

this is RM 15

Next is mantis prawn, "kam heong" stlye. Not bad, its crispy and fresh with just the right amount of spiciness. this is RM16.

Sizzling plate tofu...our second choice since their house specialty tofu wasn't available yet..

the downside of going there TOO EARLY!

this is allright also, mainly cos it was LOADED withmushrooms. the tofu is smooth and nice.

this is rm 12

so all in all, this is a pretty good place to dine. the service is good and the food is reasonably priced and yummy. and setting is something different. back to nature kind of thingy..

overall rating...8/10
