quaint decoration in between all the yummy food

Tenji is located at a rather newly developed area in hartamas kl. still many empty shoplots. its above a large cold storage..

the huge area inside...
we were given an al-fresco seats as most of the tables inside were huge and for larger groups. wasn't too hot outside, thank goodness.

lovely deco with greenery, wood elements and pebbles :)

and now for the most important part. the FOOD. taken in no random order, this is all the chow we (my parents, sister, granny and I ) had :D

cute finger size cheesecake. chocolate and blueberry.
hehe..and abit of SS photos :P
me posing in front of the huge sign.

i really love the ambiance there ^_^

OK back to the food. they claim to have over 200 types of food from japanese cuisine to western and also chinese! but of course the main attraction (and the most worthy one) is the japanese food!

one of my weakness. spaghetti aglio olio, which was rather disappointing. it was watery and just spicy. no signature garlic fragrance :(
and another weakness...mushroom soup (no photo) which was also disappointing, very bland and watery and tasteless. guess western food is not their speciality.

oooh. an all time favourite. fruits on sticks....
to be dipped in this magnificent chocolate fountain *dreamy eyes*
yummy!

one of the main attractions.free flow of coconut. very sweet and very refreshing. i drank three coconuts. LOL.
one of the yummiest and priciest food. COD FISH! oh-la-la. fresh delicious and cooked to perfection with yummy sauce. within an hour plus they did not have any more! so BE THERE EARLY!!! early bird catches the worm. hehe

also available: dim sum. not bad but of course cannot compare to other places.

fish and chips (without chips. hmmm...dunno why they call it fish and chips???) golden deep fried fish. crunchy and nice :)

assorted fried stuff like fish cake, squid balls and yam cakes.

for display only: beautiful gingerbread house!

marmite crabs which i didn't try cos' didn't want to get hands messy, snails and some chicken.

assortment of mochi
skewered grilled shitake mushroom, yummy good! my all time favourite!

hah. the star attraction! but not so for me. RAW OYSTERS!!! huge and fresh and slimy.
im so proud of myself....
i ate ONE. hahahah....its slimy and fishyyy!!! still not used to it yet ( and never will be)
quite an achievement for me as i just learnt to eat raw fish, but now i like it. fish i mean.
my first serving. with mussels, crab and scallop coated with yummy gooey cheese. slurp!

my sister's first helping. she is the biggest japanese food fan in my family. i pinched the white fish, scallop and octopus off her plate :P

cooked salmon. such a small portion on this HUGE plate -_- "

stacks of salmon!!!

soba noodle in this special paper bowl. I'm so fascinated...
they also have traditional chinese herbal soup. talk about a huge variety....

more sushi in cute "boats"

another special thing. flower tea !!! from lavender (my favourite) to rose tea and peach tea and blueberry...calendula..peach tea. served in pretty glass tea pots and cute little glass cups. just like having english afternoon tea.
my yakitori. very good..
they also have other food like fried rice and other cooked food but kinda a waste of stomach space...
one major disappointment. NO HAAGEN DAZZ ice cream. which i was soooo looking forward to :(
apparently the machine was "out of order" so sad :(
besides that...service is good, the overall dining experience was nice and enjoyable :)
do take advantage of this promotion period (again..it ends on 15th january 2009) its very worth it!!!
