one of my family's favourite haunt for good chicken/char siew rice and horfun.
the good food, fast service and reasonable prices has made us one of their loyal regular customer.
we go there at least twice a month...
(plus the fact that it is so near and convenient!)
the chicken and char siew rice.fragrant rice, tender chicken and yummy char siew with slightly sweet sauce (i like it that way ^^). all the requirements for a hearty meal.
tauge (beansprout) is nice crunchy fat and juicy! don't have the picture though.
the meatballs. meaty and springy. very nice
the hor fun noodles. came in 3 types
1.ipoh hor fun. with chicken slices and prawns
2. prawn hor fun. with prawn wan ton. made from crunchy fresh prawns
3. plain. just the noodles.
the hor fun is silky smooth and not soggy. the soup is good too. one of the best hor fun i've tasted. the noodles are superb! (but the best of the best is the one in Sunway, but they moved/close and i have no idea if the shop still exists. so sad!)
average price about rm5-6 per person.
ideal for a quick wholesome yummy no-frills meal.
