so its hard to forget his birthday.
like i ever will! :P
but this year i got to celebrate it with him two times. one with some G13 friends (on the eve of his bday at TGIF subang parade--write more about it later) and another time, just the two of us.
i did most of the planning =) one of the rare occasion. heheh
the day started off with me picking him up and going to sunway pyramid. since the opening of the new wing, i find myself going there so often!
went to the cinema to buy tickets for a movie. decided to watch IRON MAN!
it was a good movie, the gadgets are so impressive and high tech! i shall not spoil the movie!!
had lunch at sushi zanmai at the old wing (above kim gary) went there with babra before. its my sister's favourite sushi place. and since james is a huge Japanese food fan, i brought him to try..

something off the conveyor belt. salmon! its rm6 i think. lone ranger...cos james ate one before i could snap a photo of it.
egg thingy (don't know the name) has a smoky taste, quite normal, james thought it was rather oily...
salmon again. with onions (weird combination???) and drizzled with mayo. i still cannot bring myself to eat raw fish!
the set i ordered. chicken katsu and cold soba noodles. top marks for presentation. this set is about rm10. its nice also. first time having cold noodles!

james's tempura with rice. not bad also. i had this the other time..its very filling even if it looks small. there are two sizes, small and large..this is the small one.. tempura is nice and crispy and the rice is the special japanese rice, all small and plump and cute ^.^ this is rm8.8o i think.
my absolute favourite of the day! SOFT SHELL CRAB. (rm9.80) crispy on the outside, soft and on the inside. no fuss of peeling the shell also. yummmmy!
after the movie and walking around sunway pyramid for awhile, we went to swenson's subang parade cos i really wanted to try the chocolate foundue set.
but alas! they didn't have it. i was plunged into despair. haha, kidding. was a little disappointed but we settled for chocolate malt ice cream and fried vege...
the fried vege. sounded and looked nice on the menu...but it was very different and weird. wouldn't say in a nice way. it was really oily. won't order it again.
chocolate malt ice cream! with Maltesers. which tasted extra sweet with the ice cream.pure indulgence.
feel so guilty now in indulging in so much fried and sweet food. aihhhh
